Current Ammenities
Pool- Currently the pool size is a 154,000 gal pool. the pool itself is open to all residents in good standing, and those who have purchased the right to use the facility. Pool opens the last weekend of May, which is typically Memorial Day and remains open on weekends only until Klein ISD releases for the summer. Then the pool is open Tuesday thru Saturday 11am to 8pm and Sunday 12pm to 8pm. Swim Team uses the pool from April until late June to early July. You can have your children learn to swim, or have your child in swim team by clicking here.
Club House- The clubhouse is available to residents in good standing, for any private parties, events, and gatherings. Typically open with a signed agreement, and $100.00 deposit. Once your done and the facility is checked out, and nothing is needed to be done such as cleaning, repairs, replacing of items that were broken during the course of the event, your deposit is refunded.
Tennis Courts- This ammenity is open to all residents in good standing. Code is required. Open 7 days week, it opens at dawn, and closes at 10pm. Please click here to get the code to the courts.
Parks- We have removed the play park by the pool due to safety reasons and will look to replace this fall.
second park is a reflection park, located along Creek Willow, known as the "Tree Lot". This park has a walking path, and will soon have benches for relaxation.
Nature Trail- Nature trail is currently being discussed, and will be announced upon completion. This ammenity will be open to all in DOWDELL PUD District, and must be used with the understanding that the wild animals who live along the creek, don't read signs, so you must use caution and own risk when using the trails. Neither DOWDELL PUD nor Willow Forest Homes Association, assume liability for use.
All this is not possible without resident participation in the Association process. As part of this process we must collect Assessments to maintain or improve upon the amenities we have. As listed on the main page, you, the Association are due sums totalling $97053.29. This total is derived from accounting, using totals owed this year, and previous 4 years and only take those totals outstanding currently. This is current as of June 21st, 2011
